We will work with you to make your event as magical as possible with a sprinkle of Fairydust!

However, as a snapshot, here is what you can expect from us...
How we organise events
We will work with you to find a suitable date. Once this has been confirmed, our design team will undertake the following:
Design and creation of JPEG’s including an A4 poster, an Instagram size picture, as well as Twitter and Facebook. We can also send you a bleed PDF ready for your printers, should you decide to print any for your own distribution. However, we can provide some A4 posters and a selection of A3 for your venue.
Using Vimeo, we will create a video, and this will be sent to you which you are welcome to use.
An event will be created on Facebook, where you will be invited to co-host.
This will also be on our website, and tickets available for pre-purchase or if they are free tickets, we will open the registration.
Fairydust will pay for social media boosting as well as our own sharing which will be done by our social media team. We use sites such as Hootsuite, Evvnt.com, Next Door and others as well as the known brands such as Facebook to push our events.
Our director is a member of over 55 Facebook groups for the Preston area, so in addition to the above, manual posting on these pages will be done a minimum of 3 times a week.
Where it is needed, we will pay for A5 flyers to be marketed in the local area.
What’s the cost to a venue?
It all depends on the event!
For example, for a Ladies Night, we do ask for a non-refundable £100 deposit. When you bear in mind that to run one of these events is one of the most expensive in our calendar with live Drag Acts, DJ’s, Male Entertainment, Advertising, Sound and Lighting the actual cost for the entertainment side, can easily go to nearly £500. Therefore £100 deposit is a tiny cost to you, and this is used simply to secure the acts for your date. It’s also non-refundable to us, which is why we are unable to return this should you cancel. Our acts in the past have included Destini O’Connor, Terri Fox and for 2022 we are looking to book Kitty Scott Claws from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
If, however, it’s a Psychic Night, there is NO cost to you, as our mediums fee is covered by the door entry.
Let us know your requirements, and the team can work out the best costing for you, but it’s fair to say a large percentage of the time it's FREE for you!
How does your venue make money?
If your venue has a bar, then you have all bar takings on the day. However, if it is an event where the bar may not be in use, then we can discuss sharing a percentage of the income with you. This is obviously going to only be applicable when you would not have any other form of income on the day and is something that would be agreed upon between both parties and contracts signed to confirm we are all in agreement.
