QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WITH FAIRYDUST EVENTS
Here at Fairydust, we are often asked the same questions, so we thought it might be useful for visitors for us to have a Q&A! However, if your question is not mentioned below, please do get in touch as we do love to chat. Fundraising is so important, especially for charities after dealing with the COVID pandemic in the last 18 months.
Here at Fairydust, we wanted to focus on LOCAL causes to find out what they need and how we can help. We have given some common questions we are generally asked and hope that it gives you lots of information!!!
Q. How do you fundraise?
A. We do this in a variety of methods. A percentage of a ticket sale goes to our causes, as well as we do our Charity Raffles, Charity Tombolas and finally Charity Auction with the wonderful Charity Escapes at our events.
Q. Why have you chosen Miles for Mitchie and NWAA for 2022?
A. Miles for Mitchie was given to us by one of our supporters, and after reading the story of what the family has been through, we thought that they needed our help. NWAA is a life-saving charity that costs £7 for 60 secs in the air and can save a life. Neither charity receive any government or lottery funding and survive purely on donations from the public.
Q. Are Fairydust Events non-profit?
A.Yes, we are! You will see at the top of each page our registration number with Companies House.
Q. How do you pick your causes?
A. Good Question! A lot of what we do is by referrals. If you know of a local cause that needs help then please do give us the details and we can look into supporting them. We pick two charities a year and work with them to raise awareness and funds.
Other charities we have supported in the past include Derian House, Alzheimer's Society, Donna's Dream House, Lagans Foundation, The Samaritans and more!
Q., How much have you raised since 2018?
A. We have raised approximately £7865 to date. For 2022 we are wanting to raise a further £3k.
